September 16, 2012 Healthy eating definitely requires some time and energy. Before you head off to the grocery store, be sure to bring a grocery list with you and try to stick to it. Once at the store, try to stick to the perimeter of the store where you can find foods in their most wholesome form (fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, dairy products and whole grain breads). Once you venture into the centre isles, you will find the processed and packaged foods. Remember to stick to your list and resist impulse buys that you know are not healthy choices. Also…never go shopping hungry…who knows what might land in your cart! |
