December 13, 2009 Going out for supper? If you are having steak, avoid the prime rib as it is the highest in fat! Instead, choose a sirloin steak or fillet mignon. Remember to trim any excess fat and be sure to order the smallest serving size available. A portion of meat is 3 – 4 oz…that’s the size of a deck of cards. Most restaurants serve steaks that are 2 to 3 times that size, so you might want to take home a doggy bag. |
