 If you are trying to manage your waistline, then you really need to monitor you alcohol intake. In addition to providing extra calories, alcoholic beverages can also increase your appetite. One study showed that one alcoholic drink before a meal caused people to eat an average of 200 extra calories! So…you may want to give up that pre-dinner drink if you are working on your waistline.
